CRA is an authorized packager and distributor for Ro-Flo Compressors. The authorization reflects a relationship built on delivered projects, not a supplier agreement signed at a trade show.

The partnership exists because proven compression technology requires an engineering team that knows how to put it to work.

The Partnership

Ro-Flo Compressors manufactures rotary sliding vane compressors and all associated OEM parts, with applications across biogas, vapor recovery, landfill gas, and wastewater treatment. The sliding vane design delivers continuous compression with no valves, handles gas gently, and suits the saturation and variability that biogas streams bring.

As an authorized packager and distributor, CRA engineers the complete system around the Ro-Flo compression unit. That scope covers inlet filtration, dehumidification, gas train design, skid fabrication, controls integration, and commissioning, all built in house. CRA holds a direct technical relationship with Ro-Flo's engineering department, and Ro-Flo provides full technical support throughout project execution. OEM parts are used exclusively for all supply and aftermarket servicing.

The compressor is one part of the system. The engineering built around it is what determines whether the system performs.

Proven in the Field

Two projects demonstrate what this combination delivers.

For Mazoon Dairy in Oman, CRA engineered a 443 Nm³/hr compression skid to transport biogas across a pipeline spanning 4 kilometres at 2.5 bar, operating continuously in desert heat with a duty and standby Ro-Flo configuration. The system has run without interruption since commissioning. Read the case study →

For Adani Infra's anaerobic digester facility in India, the requirement was more complex: biogas recirculated sequentially through multiple lances across three RCC digesters, with a dedicated Ro-Flo unit and standby per channel, controlled by a modulating rotary sequential valve system. The project delivered a 15% increase in biogas yield and 54% cost savings against the alternative. Read the case study →

Both systems are successfully commisioned and in operation today.

What This Means for Your Project

Compressor selection is a foundational decision. For biogas applications, the rotary sliding vane design delivers continuous compression with no valves, tolerates saturated and variable gas compositions, and maintains low mechanical complexity across the service life. Getting the selection right is where every project starts. The integration determines whether that selection performs.

CRA engineers both sides of that equation. The Ro-Flo unit is specified to the actual site gas conditions. The upstream system, covering filtration, dehumidification, and gas treatment, is designed to the Ro-Flo unit's inlet specification, not to a generic industry standard. The controls architecture ties both together, so the system responds as one if gas quality or flow conditions shift at any point in the train.

For the customer, the authorized packager relationship delivers three things.

Full system integration from inlet gas to discharge, with the compressor and all surrounding engineering under one scope and one accountable party. No split responsibility between a compression supplier and a balance of plant contractor.

Genuine OEM parts and direct Ro-Flo technical support throughout the project lifecycle, so there is no gap between the equipment manufacturer and the system integrator during design review, commissioning, or long term servicing.

A formalized supply chain, not an improvised one. Authorized distribution means lead times and parts availability are managed as part of the project from the start, not treated as procurement risk during execution.

What's Next

Biogas compression requirements are growing, across India's CBG programme, across wastewater and landfill gas projects regionally, and in markets where biogas to energy infrastructure is scaling at commercial pace. Each of those projects requires a compression system that performs to specification reliably, across variable feedstock, seasonal gas compositions, and load cycles.

CRA is positioned to deliver that system, with Ro-Flo compression engineered at its core, and one point of accountability for the outcome.

Custom engineered. Properly scoped.
